Join the live workshopThis workshop is for you if…
- You feel heaviness or downward pressure through your pelvic floor
- You experience leakage when you laugh, sneeze, jump or exercise
- Your belly is bulging or feels unsupported, even when you try to strengthen it
- You’ve been told to “just do Kegels,” but you still have issues with your core or pelvic floor
- You’re curious about Hypopressive Training and want to learn the technique safely from the beginning
- You want a gentle practice that helps you feel strong and supported
You don’t need to be fit, flexible or familiar with the method. This is where we begin.
New to Hypopressive Training? You’re in the right place.
Hypopressive Training is a gentle form of core and pelvic floor training that uses breathing, posture and pressure management to activate the deep muscles of your core and pelvic floor.
The word “hypopressive” means low pressure – and that’s one of the things that makes this method different.
In this workshop, we’ll focus on the two foundations of the method:
Rest breath – a 360 breath that can help you regulate your nervous systemÂ
Apnea – the vakuum breath that strengheten your core and pelvic floor
It may look a little unusual at first – but once you understand what’s happening in your body, it starts to make much more sense.
And I’ll guide you through it step by step, so you can practise with me and learn what you should be feeling.

What to expect
We’ll meet live on Zoom and I’ll demonstrate every step, practise with you and answer questions as we go.
You may keep your camera off. Wear comfortable clothes and make sure you have a little space to sit or stand.
During the workshop, you’ll learn to:
- notice how your ribs and diaphragm move when you breathe
- use the resting breath to release unnecessary tension
- perform apnea—a gentle breath hold after exhaling—step by step
- recognise the difference between creating lift and simply sucking your stomach in
- connect breathing, posture, deep core and pelvic-floor support
Our time together, step by step
1. Settle and prepare
We begin with the resting breath and gentle preparation for the ribs and diaphragm, so you can breathe with less tension.
2. Learn apnea
I guide you through the gentle breath hold after exhaling, explain what should happen and help you avoid the most common beginner mistakes.
3. Connect and practise
You bring the technique into simple positions and learn how breathing, posture, your deep core and pelvic floor work together.
After the workshop, you’ll leave with…
- a clear understanding of what Hypopressive Training is—and how it can help you
- a rest breath you can use to calm tension and reconnect with your body
- a step-by-step understanding of apnea and what the technique should feel like
- more confidence to continue with short Hypopressive sessions at home
You don’t need to master everything in one hour. My goal is for you to feel safe, understand the foundations and know exactly what your next step is.

Hi, I’m Anita Wiig
I’m a Norwegian Hypopressive trainer, nutritionist and bestselling author. For the past seven years, I’ve helped more than 10,000 women understand their bodies and build a stronger, more supported core and pelvic floor.
I found Hypopressive Training after my second pregnancy, when I was living with diastasis recti, pelvic pain, downward pressure and a belly that still looked pregnant no matter how much I tried to hold it in.
This method changed the way my body felt—and the way I understood pressure, breathing and strength. Today, teaching it is my life’s work.
I’m also the author of the Norwegian bestseller Hypopressive Training, which spent 18 weeks on Norway’s official bestseller list in 2026.
In this workshop, I’ll meet you exactly where you are and make the technique feel simple, safe and possible. 💛
